Willamette Valley braces for extreme heat: tips to beat the heat

EUGENE, Ore. – An “extreme heat watch” is in effect for several regions across Oregon, including the central and south Willamette Valley. This warning begins Friday morning and will continue through Sunday evening.

The Medford National Weather Service office has also issued an “excessive heat warning” for Southwest Oregon, affecting areas such as eastern Curry, Josephine, Jackson, and western and central Siskiyou counties.
