Labor Day Forecast Provides a Holiday Treat

Labor Day has arrived, and the recent trend of cooler temperatures is set to continue as we celebrate the holiday. Much as we’ve seen all weekend long, the cooler weather will remain in place for one final day – though even at that, afternoon highs will begin to tick back up a few degrees today.

Now that we have begun to see the cooler air receding to the north once again, temperatures will slowly but surely trend back towards the 90s. For today at least, we will continue to dodge the 90 heat in the Willamette Valley, but a few isolated 90s in the Umpqua Valleys aren’t out of the question. Most of those 90 highs will stay down in the Rogue Valley for now, but if you do have some last minute holiday travel in the planner, be prepared to see warmer temperatures if you’re heading…..
