Tangent semi-truck crash: Fire crews team up for quick rescue

TANGENT, Ore. – One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 34 on Tuesday afternoon, according to Tangent Rural Fire District officials.

Tangent fire officials said that firefighters responded at 3:45 p.m. on Sept. 2 to a two-vehicle crash in the area of Highway 34 and Goltra Road involving a passenger vehicle and semi-truck. Fire and emergency personnel arrived to find a small pickup with significant driver’s side damage. Crews used hydraulic tools to free the injured occupant in 13 minutes.
