Marion County deputies arrest Salem man after high-speed chase exceeds 100 mph

SALEM, Ore. (KATU) — The Marion County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old Thomas Cory Jaeger of Salem after deputies said he ran from them at speeds over 100 mph and ran multiple red lights.

Early on September 23, a Marion County deputy tried to stop a driver who fled from a parking lot near Lancaster Drive NE.

Deputies say the driver, now identified as Jaeger, drove at high speeds, and drove the wrong way on State Street…
