Smoky skies as crews contain Pioneer East Fire

Residents of the Willamette Valley experienced smoky skies on Sunday due to the Pioneer East Fire near the Corvallis Forest.

The Oregon Department of Forestry reported that air quality was in the moderate category at times but has since improved significantly.
