YCAP IN ACTION: State shelter funding strengthens local services

Earlier this year, Oregon took a historic step in addressing homelessness by passing House Bill 3644.

This legislation, which was recently signed into law by Gov. Tina Kotek, streamlines and stabilizes shelter support for the next six years. As a result, Yamhill Community Action Partnership will receive a $4.5 million grant for this fiscal year to provide vital shelter and housing services in Yamhill County.
