Oregon Hit-and-Run Investigation: Deputies Seek Public’s Help After Crash Near Albany

Albany, OR – Benton County Sheriff’s Office investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a driver involved in a hit-and-run crash late Friday night near Albany.

According to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 9:48 p.m. Friday to a crash on Highway 20 involving a dark gray Honda of an unknown model. The vehicle reportedly fled the scene after striking another motorist and was last seen traveling west toward Corvallis.

Authorities said the victim was transported to a hospital and is recovering. The suspect vehicle is believed to have front passenger-side damage. Investigators are urging anyone who may have witnessed the crash or seen a matching vehicle to come forward…
