SALEM, Ore. (KATU) — As cities across Oregon continue to look for new ways to generate revenue, the city of Salem is outpacing its paid parking revenue projections by almost $200,000.
In July, the city of Salem began charging downtown visitors for parking after 50 years of offering free, on-street spaces.
