OSU student dead in vehicle-pedestrian collision

On Oct 17, the Corvallis Police Department arrived at the scene of a vehicle-pedestrian collision involving a Toyota RAV-4 and two individuals, and at the scene, a 20-year-old male was pronounced dead, and one female severely injured.

The driver, a 17-year-old Corvallis High School student, was driving westbound as the two individuals were crossing the intersection at a crosswalk, heading southbound, or towards the university.
