Dr. Jennifer Kubista, superintendent of the Central School District in Independence, Oregon, has been appointed to an at-large position on the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Board of Directors. She will serve as the Sections 5-8 at-large representative on the 12-member board. Her term will run through 2029, filling an unexpired position.
Kubista has led the Central School District since 2017. She previously worked as an administrator in Tacoma, Washington, for 14 years. In Oregon, she expanded academic and enrichment programs.
