KENT, Ore. – A 66-year-old Corvallis man died Tuesday evening following a two-vehicle crash in a remote part of Sherman County, according to the Oregon State Police.
OSP officials said they responded at 5:35 p.m. on Nov. 4 to a two-vehicle crash near milepost 43 on Highway 97. A preliminary investigation determined that Eric Neal Barton was traveling northbound in a Chevrolet Impala when he crossed into the southbound lane and struck a southbound International Harvester commercial truck and trailer near the rear drive tires, police said.
