The loved ones of a hunter who died in the Mount Hood National Forest thank the community for volunteering and donating to continue the search long after official efforts ended.
Devon Dobek’s remains were recovered Sunday afternoon, Nov. 16. His body had been spotted the day before at the bottom of a steep cliff near the Fish Creek Trailhead. That was because many people refused to give up on the search, both with boots on the ground and through donations via a GoFundMe campaign.
