The National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory at 9:56 p.m. on Friday in effect until Saturday at 11 a.m. for West Central Willamette Valley and East Central Willamette Valley.
The weather service says to prepare for, “Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.”
“Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous,” says the weather service. “If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. If driving, slow down and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. Pedestrians and cyclists should wear bright or reflective clothing to increase the chances of being seen by others in poor visibility conditions.”
