U.S Immigration and Customs Enforcement detained at least 14 people in Woodburn on Dec. 3, according to the coalition Oregon for All and the Portland Immigrants Rights Coalition.
The number of arrests appears to be the second highest single-day total since Oct. 30, when ICE arrested 35 people around the Woodburn area. The Woodburn City Council declared a state of emergency on Nov. 21 in response to the impact of ICE enforcement.
