A suspect with an axe charged at two sheriff’s deputies near Wilsonville during a traffic stop Friday evening, resulting in at least one of the deputies shooting the person, the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office said.
Paramedics quickly arrived and took the suspect to a local hospital in “critical condition,” officials said. The name of the suspect has not been released, and no further information about the person is currently available.
