Sherwood police warn of burglary group that could be targeting homes

SHERWOOD, Ore. — The Sherwood Police Department is warning residents to be on the lookout for a burglary group they suspect may be targeting homes in the city.

Police said they recently responded to at least one residential break-in. They wouldn’t say exactly where it happened but noted it could happen again in any part of town.

Investigators said the burglary group’s mode of operation includes crooks conducting surveillance in neighborhoods before committing crimes. They noted past cases place them in newer, sometimes flashy vehicles, often with out-of-state plates…
