Yamhill County, OR – A 52-year-old man from Amity died Saturday morning after his vehicle was swept away by floodwaters in rural Yamhill County, according to the Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said that around 7:40 a.m. on December 19, 2025, a 911 caller reported a vehicle that had driven past road closure signage into high water covering SW Dejong Road between Ballston Road and Christensen Road.
