BENTON COUNTY, Ore. — Corvallis Fire and Rescue (CFR) along with the Benton County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) successfully rescued a kayaker struggling in the Willamette River near Kiger Island Drive, earlier on Monday.
The kayaker managed to call 911 around 7:30 a.m., prompting a coordinated response.
