Monmouth, OR – Drivers in Monmouth are being advised to use caution today after a loose manhole cover was reported on Main Street at the intersection of Highway 99. The issue, which causes a loud rattling noise when vehicles pass over it, has prompted an immediate response from the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT).
According to the City of Monmouth Public Works Department, ODOT maintenance crews were on site Monday morning, December 23, to assess the situation and develop a repair plan.
