PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Salem man was arrested Sunday for allegedly kidnapping a woman.
An 18-year-old called to report his mother missing on Dec. 28 after she failed to return home the previous night. Her vehicle was later found in a nearby park along with torn clothing and her shoes, according to Salem police.
The woman, age 36, later contacted police to report she had been kidnapped and held at gunpoint by a person known to her. She said she escaped, and identified the suspect as 39-year-old Luis Pantoja-Guzman, according to police.
