Paul Bachand, the former owner of now-defunct high-end restaurants in Newberg and McMinnville, appears to have once again run afoul of the law.
The once celebrated chef and founder of Recipe: A Neighborhood Kitchen in Newberg and Pinch Restaurant and Wine Bar in McMinnville was arrested in late December on allegations he violated the stipulations of conditional release granted after his October arrest on sex charges.
Bachand, 51, was slated to enter a plea Dec. 18 in Yamhill County Circuit Court, but instead found himself the brunt of additional allegations that prompted prosecutor Sarah Vogel to file a motion to rescind the release agreement…
