Well folks, it looks like we’re settling into a familiar pattern here across the Willamette Valley as we look ahead to the coming week. We’ve been tracking a system that’s ushering in quite a bit of moisture, and we expect that to continue to be the main story for our area. Starting us off, our Monday forecast is calling for cloudy skies with chances for occasional rain this afternoon. Highs will be topping out around the 50-degree mark, with breezy southerly winds blowing between 10 and 20 miles per hour. We’re looking at a near certainty of rain, with about a quarter of an inch expected, so definitely keep those umbrellas handy!

As we move into Tuesday, things might offer a brief reprieve with intervals of clouds and sunshine, though temperatures will dip slightly to around 47 degrees with lighter winds.
