A Salem man pleaded guilty to second-degree murder with a firearm in the 2025 killing of Ashley Gandalfi; sentencing is scheduled for January 14.
Marion County, OR. — A Marion County Circuit Court judge on Monday accepted a change of plea from Tyler Holman, resolving a homicide case stemming from the 2025 death of Ashley Jean Gandalfi.
Judge Jodie Bureta accepted Holman’s guilty plea to one count of Murder in the Second Degree with a Firearm. Holman, 40, entered the plea in exchange for dismissal of the remaining charges against him.
Holman was arrested on January 30, 2025, following an investigation into Gandalfi’s death. Authorities determined that Gandalfi had been shot prior to a vehicle crash in Polk County, where her body was discovered.
