WinCo eyes Woodburn as future location for supermarket

Woodburn could soon be getting a new grocery store.

WinCo, the Idaho-based supermarket chain, has submitted an application for a new 84,087-square-foot grocery store in Woodburn on undeveloped land near Interstate 5 and between Stacey Allison Way and Evergreen Road, southwest of Center Street. If approved, the store could open next year.
