Salem, OR – A routine late-night traffic stop in northeast Salem early Wednesday led to the arrest of a convicted felon and the seizure of firearms, ammunition, and suspected methamphetamine, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the sheriff’s office, the incident occurred at approximately 1:13 a.m. on Wednesday, January 28, when a deputy observed a red Dodge Ram drifting over the center line while traveling southbound on Hawthorne Avenue NE near Monroe Avenue NE.
