Fish and Wildlife to tackle crab fishery concerns in Springfield meeting

SALEM, Ore. – The Oregon Fish and Wildlife Commission is set to meet on February 20 at the Lane County Armed Forces Readiness Center in Springfield. The meeting will begin at 8 a.m. and be available for viewing online.

The agenda includes a petition concerning commercial Dungeness crab fishery rules. The petition, submitted by several environmental organizations, seeks to reduce whale entanglement risks. Public comments are encouraged and can be submitted online.
