March 4 virtual town hall in Salem for Oregon veterans’ issues

SALEM, Ore. – The Oregon Department of Veterans’ Affairs (ODVA) is set to host its first quarterly Advisory Committee meeting of 2026 virtually on March 4. The meeting will start at 9 a.m., followed by a public town hall at 11:30 a.m.

The Advisory Committee, established in 1945, plays a crucial role in advising ODVA’s director and staff. Composed of nine military veterans from across Oregon, the committee advocates for veteran issues statewide.

The public is encouraged to participate in the town hall to discuss veteran concerns. Written comments can be submitted via email to [email protected]
