Record heat and sunshine returns to PNW this week

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Potential record-breaking warmth builds across western Oregon and southwest Washington as sunshine intensifies on Wednesday.

Afternoon highs will warm into the low to mid 60s for some along the Willamette Valley as clouds begin to decrease. These warming temperatures will stay over much of the Pacific Northwest through the end of the week. That’s where records could fall across the region through Friday.
