Roger Tofte, the creator of the Enchanted Forest theme park south of Salem, died Feb. 13 at 96, with his family by his side, the family announced.
Tofte was born on Jan. 8, 1930 in Chippewa Falls and moved to Astoria when he was 5 years old. In 1954, he married Mavis Bjorke, and together they became parents to four children…
