Warriors Win State Cheer Championship, Defeating Two-Time Champs

Lebanon’s Warriors cheer squad clinched the state championship in the 5A Traditional cheer category, marking the school’s first title in three years. Competing against 13 schools, the rookie team outshone two-time defending champions Crescent Valley by nearly four points at the event held on February 14. Coach Jenny Pickles praised the team’s focus and execution, noting only four members had prior state experience. Led by senior Addy Pickles, the team aimed to deliver their best performance, resulting in their remarkable win. The Warriors are now set to participate in the USA Spirit Nationals in Anaheim, California.
