PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Wilsonville chiropractor pleaded guilty to invasion of privacy charges after hiding a video camera in his bathroom and recording his house guests without their consent.
According to the Clackamas County District Attorney’s Office, a woman and her 14-year-old daughter were staying in the home of Marcelino Mauro Vera Ramirez, 44, a licensed chiropractor with an office in Tigard.
In June 2024, the DA’s Office said the girl had stepped out of the shower when she noticed a camera in a waste basket attached to a cellphone that was “camouflaged with toilet paper.”
