Marion County has again rejected an application to reopen a controversial waste dumping pit on farmland in Aurora.
Greg Wing, of Hubbard-based All-Ways Excavating, constructed and operated the pit, beginning in the fall of 2023, charging $300 per load to accept waste from industrial vacuum excavation, or vactor trucks, from multiple companies.
