White’s Restaurant marked 90 years in Salem on Tuesday with a one-day celebration that paired throwback pricing with an official ribbon cutting alongside the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce.

In an interview with the Salem Business Journal, Owner – Mike White said, “We feel incredibly blessed to carry on the historic legacy of White’s Restaurant. Seeing so many longtime customers celebrate our 90th anniversary with us today was truly heartwarming. Our team works hard to make this place feel like home, and that sense of community is what White’s has always been about.”

The South Commercial Street diner, founded in 1936, has long been known for straightforward comfort food, generous portions and a steady rhythm that keeps regulars coming back.
