A Marion County grand jury has indicted 19-year-old Izaha Gabriel Silva on multiple charges, including second-degree assault, in connection with a late-night shooting just off downtown Salem that left a 24-year-old man wounded in the shoulder.
Detectives with the Salem Police Department’s violent crimes unit have been working the case since the incident, and Silva is currently being held at the Marion County Jail as prosecutors move the case into the court system.
