Mobile clinic brings prenatal support to Corvallis community

CORVALLIS, Ore. – SamCare Mobile Medicine is set to launch a mobile prenatal and postpartum clinic, with an open house scheduled for March 16 at Monarch on 4th. This initiative aims to enhance access to healthcare for pregnant and parenting families in Benton and Linn counties.

According to SamCare Mobile Medicine, the clinic will begin service on April 6, offering walk-in prenatal visits, postpartum care, and parenting support every Monday. Services will be available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with no appointments necessary.

A certified nurse midwife will provide prenatal and postpartum services, while a traditional health worker will offer peer support and advocacy. Samaritan clinicians will deliver onsite medical care, and the behavioral health team will provide counseling and recovery services…
