Oregon State has picked up their first commitment of the 2027 recruiting class as ATH Jackson Batch announced he is committed to Coach Shephard and the Beavers. Batch, a 6-foot-3, 180 pound ATH from Stockton (Calif.) Cesar Chavez, chose Oregon State over offers from Washington State, San Diego State, Colorado State among several others.
“When choosing a school, I took the time to compare all of my options, and it ultimately came down to the coaches,” Batch told BeaverBlitz on Wednesday evening. “Head Coach Shephard and wide receiver Coach Finley both came from great backgrounds and are outstanding coaches. More importantly, they’ve shown that they truly believe in me and my abilities. That belief , along with the environment that they’re building made Oregon State feel like the right place for me.”
