Organizers are planning a No Kings rally in neighboring Corvallis on Saturday as part of a nationwide day of nonviolent action.
No Kings III in Corvallis, organized by Benton County residents affiliated with Indivisible BC, will span three locations — Oregon State University’s McNary Field at 11th and Monroe, Central Park and the Benton County Courthouse.
Participants are invited to gather at McNary Field at noon for opening remarks and a performance by the newly formed Corvallis Singing Resistance Choir. At 12:30 p.m., a sidewalk parade will proceed along Madison Avenue to Central Park, where speakers, music and children’s activities are planned. The parade will continue at 1:30 p.m. to the Benton County Courthouse for what organizers are calling a Dance for Democracy.
