Two climbers were rescued Smith Rock State Park on March 23 after becoming stranded overnight on a ledge 400 feet above the ground.
The men, both in their late 20s and visiting from Salem and Eugene, began climbing an area of Smith Rock known as “Wherever I May Roam,” occasionally stopping to let other climbers pass.
