Bomb squad investigates suspicious device at Salem park

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – The Salem Bomb Squad responded to a report of a suspicious device at Geer Park on Thursday, according to city officials.

Officials responded to the area around 2:20 p.m. after receiving a report about a possible “pipe bomb” on a park bench.
