PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Spring is in full swing for the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm in Woodburn after a warm and wet start to the spring.
Oregon’s spring colors have come to life along the Willamette Valley, including the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm. The yearly springtime event is now underway and will continue through April 26, but how long will the flowers actually last?
Thankfully, tulips are relatively strong flowers. The vibrant spring bloomers are able to handle wind, rain, and wild temperature swings. The bloom time also varies with varieties, helping to spread out the color for the next month.

Weather permitting, if temperatures remain seasonal and the rain persists, western Oregon tulips should last through late April.
