A 1.94-acre property at 5524 Skyline Road S moved one step closer to annexation into the City of Salem on Monday night, as Salem City Council advanced an ordinance that would bring the site into city limits and rezone it for multifamily residential use.
Council gave first reading to Ordinance Bill No. 5-26, which would annex the property, apply a multifamily residential comprehensive plan designation, rezone it to RM-I and withdraw it from the Salem Suburban Rural Fire Protection District.
