PacifiCorp customers will see rate increase

OREGON – Starting April 1st, Pacific Power customers will see a 2.9% increase to their monthly bills.

The Oregon Public Utility Commission announced the approval of rate increases on March 31st.

The change reflects updated fuel costs, purchased power, wholesale market sales, and other power expenses. A monthly bill will increase by $4.29. That number will vary depending on an individual’s energy use. Albany residents will see a 4.1% increase, or a $5.64 spike per month, due to a street remodeling project in which the city requested power lines to be buried underground…
