The Woodburn FC 2011 Boys Academy team has been invited to compete in a tournament in France this summer.
It is an incredible opportunity for the young athletes, who play their home games at Legion Park. However, a trip like this comes with a hefty price tag. The team must cover its own travel to France, as well as lodging.
To make it happen, a GoFundMe effort is underway. The team hopes tol raise $30,000 to make sure all of the teenagers on the team get to go to the tournament…
