A man living in Salem was one of eight people charged with transporting methamphetamine and fentanyl into the United States from Mexico and distributing it from stash houses to customers in Oregon.
Rene Cazares, 39, was charged in federal court on April 29 with conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute and possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl.
