Motorcyclist killed after colliding with tour bus on SR-89 near Utah-Arizona border identified

SOUTHERN UTAH (ABC4) — The motorcyclist who died after colliding with a tour bus near the Utah-Arizona border on Monday has been identified.

The crash occurred on Monday, at approximately 5:40 p.m., near milepost 1 on SR-89.

A motorcycle was traveling northbound on SR-89, crossing into Utah from Arizona.

A tour bus with 29 occupants on board was traveling directly behind the motorcycle when the motorcyclist did a sharp “U-turn maneuver” and failed to yield to the tour bus.
