SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, June 7, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — A 37-year-old man has been booked into the Salt Lake County jail after he allegedly tried to kidnap three children from a park in Salt Lake City.
Winston Chase Brinkerhoff was arrested Friday on three counts of attempted child kidnapping after two witnesses, who were acting as the legal guardians for three children while at a park, contacted police.
The adult witnesses said Brinkerhoff “attempted to convince the three children to leave with him. (He) did not have consent from the children’s legal guardian or acting in loco parentis,” the arrest document says…
