Thunderstorms may increase wildfire threat across northern Utah Saturday

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Northern Utah could see scattered high-based thunderstorms Saturday, bringing the potential for wind gusts stronger than 50 mph, dry lightning and little, if any, rainfall.

While not everyone will see a storm, any that develop could quickly increase the wildfire threat.
