SALT LAKE COUNTY, Utah, June 21, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — Search and Rescue crews from the Salt Lake County Sheriff’ Office helped a hiker Saturday night after he developed severe heat cramps and was unable to continue descending from the area of the Mount Olympus saddle.
The hiker called dispatch at about 6:30 p.m., and crews were sent his way, carrying water, food and electrolytes.
