The 2026 Gina Bachauer Piano Competition Junior Edition in Salt Lake City, Utah, has come to a close, and awarded its First Prize to 14-year-old pianist Jueon Lee from South Korea.
As the first-place winner of the Junior Edition, Jueon will receive $10,000 alongside a Commemorative Gold Medal. Second place was awarded to 11-year-old pianist Menhe Liu from China, with a $5,000 cash prize and a Silver Medal, and third place was given to 14-year-old pianist Junye Huang from China, with a $3,000 cash award and a Bronze Medal.
