Multiple Wildfires Burning Throughout Utah

A fire in Salt Lake City that’s burning above the University of Utah is now moving further away from homes. While the firefight remains dynamic, a shelter-in-place order was lifted last night. At last check, the so-called Bonneville Fire was about 500 acres in size and containment was at five-percent. Residents should continue to be ready to evacuate in case the conditions change.

Firefighters have managed to prevent any homes from burning after the Iron Fire increased to about 22-thousand acres. It’s currently burning in parts of Juab and Utah counties after first breaking out on Friday near Eureka. Investigators believe the fire was human-caused.
